A dated Parker-Knoll and 3 old coats (which I am sure all have a very interesting story) were brought into my studio. I have had a great time, ripping appart, stitching and patching back together. This character filled chair is now ready for its new life in an office. One of my favorite projects to date!
This lovely little chair had been half stripped and sat in an attic for a long while. Lucky for me it found its way down.
The woodwork was sanded down and holes got filled in. Then a good rich wax rubbed in to bring out its natural colour. My customer has chosen this amazing rug like fabric as a momento of a trip to Morocco.
Now with new springs and warm hues it is a very inviting seat.
This was a charity shop find, covered in a viynl so nasty I am not even going to show you! It is now a very elegant deep buttoned chair in a sage green velvet that all us girls would love in our walk in dressing room.
